Make Your Plans Now to Join Us for Evansville’s Christmas on North Main Parade
The Evansville’s Christmas on North Main Parade would like to invite your group or organization to participate in the annual Christmas parade on North Main Street on Sunday, November 24th at 3:30 p.m. This time-honored tradition is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season and promises to be entertaining for all ages. Pre-parade activities will be held in “Santa’s Workshop”, located at the corner of Columbia and Main. There will also be activities in Garvin Park in front of Bosse Field where the parade will end. These activities will include choirs, music, vendors, and cookies and hot chocolate for a donation to Easter Seals. Santa Claus will also make a special appearance at both “Santa’s Workshop” and Garvin Park.

The Evansville’s Christmas on North Main Parade, an event sponsored by the Jacobsville Area Community Corporation, is estimated to have over 100 entries this year with the addition of some potential surprises. The annual Christmas parade is predicted to draw thousands of people to the North Main Street corridor area of Evansville, IN. The Christmas parade includes local bands from area high schools as well as floats, clowns, cars, dignitaries, other marching and performing groups, and of course, Santa. Judges, who will be located at the announcement stage located on the Buehler's IGA parking lot, will select "Best in Parade", "Best Marching Unit", "Best Float", "Best Vehicle Unit", and "Best Band".
